WATCH : Jimmy Neesham took back to back stunning one handed catch

During Pretoria Capitals’ match against Durban’s Super Giants, James Neesham displayed exceptional fielding skills with two remarkable moments. He started by making a catch with a dive near his toes off his own delivery, then followed up with a spectacular one-handed grab while flying at point.

Despite James Neesham’s efforts, Durban’s Super Giants posted a massive 254-4 in 20 overs, with Heinrich Klaasen’s impressive hundred leading the way to the huge total.

With the Pretoria Capitals in dire need of a breakthrough, Neesham was brought in as Quinton de Kock and Ben McDermott had amassed 76 runs in the powerplay. On his first delivery, de Kock made solid contact with a full-fledged straight drive, but Neesham quickly reacted by sticking out his hand and catching the ball inches from the ground, during his follow-through.

Despite Neesham’s successful catch and his economical over that yielded only three runs, the opposition’s attack persisted. Neesham’s next over saw 16 runs scored, and though he added another catch to his tally, Durban’s Super Giants continued their dominant play.

In the 14th over bowled by Josh Little, 19 runs had already been scored and it appeared that the score would increase to 23 when Wiaan Mulder swung at a wide delivery from Little, sending the ball flying towards the off-side. But Neesham made a spectacular dive to his right and caught the ball, securing his second diving catch at point in the tournament.
