However, her visit to Lucknow turned out to be unpleasant as she watched the Sunrisers struggle to score 121/8 in the first innings.
In the second half of the match, when Fazalhaq Farooqi, their Impact Player, took out Kyle Mayers during the fifth over of the innings with a back-of-a-length delivery, Kavya couldn’t control her emotions and leaped for joy from the stands.
Mayers was coming into this fixture after two impressive outings, and Kaviya understood the significance of the West Indian’s wicket.
The incident caught the attention of Twitter users, with some criticizing her celebration as silly, given that Mayers’ wicket was only the first one, and SRH had a below-par total to defend. However, others praised her passion for the game, regardless of the match situation.
