Kavya Maran was present at the stadium to support her team in Match No. 47 of IPL 2023. It was a crucial game for the Aiden Markram-led side as they had lost 5 out of their 8 games.
Sunrisers Hyderabad dominated the Nitish Rana-led side for most of the contest, and Kavya Maran showed her happy reactions as she enjoyed the game from the stands when her team was cruising towards the target.
However, KKR’s Varun Chakaravarthy scripted a remarkable win by defending 9 runs off the last over, and the joy turned into agony for Kavya Maran. Her sad expression after SRH’s loss against KKR went viral on Twitter and Instagram.
Earlier during the Kolkata Knight Riders’ innings, she was seen jumping for joy with every wicket that her team claimed. After the loss, she ruefully applauded the KKR team, and her team’s performance in the ongoing season of the IPL has not made her happy.
