While Kieron Pollard’s injury just before the Eliminator was a concern for MINY due to his crucial role in the middle order, Dewald Brevis stepped up to the plate in Pollard’s absence.
Despite being in and out of the MINY side due to the overseas players limit, Brevis seized the opportunity and showcased his talent as a young sensation. In two important games, Brevis played vital innings, demonstrating his ability to handle pressure. His knock of 57 against Washington Freedom helped MINY achieve a competitive total after a slow start.
