Opting to field first, the Titans’ bowlers supported captain Shubman Gill’s decision by taking three wickets within the powerplay. Despite struggling with the bat, Liam Livingstone’s fifty, along with Jitesh Sharma’s 33 and Tim David’s 32, guided the Bengaluru side to a total of 169/7 in 20 overs.
In response, the RCB bowlers failed to make a significant impact on the GT batting order during the second innings, despite removing Shubman Gill early in the powerplay. A crucial fielding error from Kohli in the twelfth over also added to RCB’s woes.
In the twelfth over, Krunal Pandya bowled a short, wide delivery to Sudharsan. The Tamil Nadu batter pulled it towards deep mid-wicket, where Kohli was stationed.
However, Kohli misjudged the bounce of the ball, which hit his finger before racing to the boundary for four.

Kohli was visibly in pain as he grimaced near the boundary ropes, with an umpire coming over to check on him, sparking a flurry of reactions on Twitter.
