WATCH : Kohli reminds Australia of his class with supreme cover drive

Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli once again showcased why he is called ‘King Kohli’ with a stunning display of batting in the ongoing fourth Test match against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Kohli’s flawless cover drive off Australian captain Pat Cummins captured the hearts of fans.

In the 21st over, Cummins delivered a full-length ball outside off, a genuine half-volley. Kohli elegantly leaned into the shot, guiding the ball past mid-off with precision.

His immaculate footwork and balance allowed the ball to race to the boundary in a flash. Kohli pounced on the delivery with the hunger of a predator, sending it sailing for a beautifully timed four.

After scoring a century in the Perth Test, Kohli had a quiet spell in the second and third Tests. However, he looked back to his best in this match.

Coming in to bat after a stunning delivery from Pat Cummins dismissed KL Rahul early, Kohli remained calm and composed, forming an excellent 70-run partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Jaiswal, in superb form, scored his second 50-plus knock in Australia, reaching the milestone off 81 balls. This was his ninth fifty in Tests. At the time of writing, India are 124/2.
