India D struggled with the bat, losing their top order by the seventh over and falling to 23/4. Although Axar Patel held firm at one end, wickets continued to tumble at the other.
With Saransh Jain and Harshit Rana dismissed, India D was reeling at 76/8. Nonetheless, Axar and Arshdeep Singh formed a crucial 84-run partnership, pushing the score to 159/8 in 47 overs.
Their stand was broken by Vyshak Vijayakumar, who dismissed Singh, and Axar soon followed, caught spectacularly by Manav Suthar.
In the 49th over, Hrithik Shokeen bowled a straight delivery on off stump. Axar Patel attempted a six over long-on but mistimed the shot.

The ball, lacking power, drifted toward long-on where Manav Suthar was stationed. Initially misjudging the catch, Suthar made an impressive adjustment, retreating and executing a stunning diving catch just before the ball touched the ground. The Twitterverse erupted in praise for Suthar’s remarkable fielding effort.
