WATCH : Mohammed Shami Smashes Todd Murphy For Back-to-back Sixes

Recently, Mohammed Shami, the Indian fast bowler, has made some important contributions in Test cricket for India by utilizing his six-hitting skills. During a match against Australia, Shami faced off against the young spinner Todd Murphy and hit two consecutive sixes in the 131st over of India’s innings.

On the third delivery of the over, Shami capitalized on a full toss from Murphy and sent it soaring inside the long-off boundary. In response, Murphy altered his delivery length for the next ball, but Shami was determined to go for the big shot as he slog-swept it for a massive six over mid-wicket.

However, despite his impressive performance, Shami was dismissed by Murphy in the following over after scoring 37 runs off 47 balls. Nevertheless, his contribution was significant to India’s success and demonstrated to the other batsmen how to approach Murphy’s bowling.

On Day 3, after Ravindra Jadeja’s early departure, the Australian team believed that India’s innings was coming to an end. However, Mohammed Shami, who arrived at the crease at number 10, immediately launched an attack on the bowlers.

He played an explosive innings, changing the course of the game. At the end of Day 2, India was in a commanding position with a score of 321/7, as both Ravindra Jadeja and Exar Patel had scored over 50 runs each.
