WATCH : Nassau haunt de Kock as Sakib produces jaffa

Unlike any other captain, Aiden Markram chose to bat first under challenging conditions at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium as South Africa faced Bangladesh.

Reeza Hendricks, continuing his poor form, was trapped in the first over, while Quinton de Kock seemed unaffected and attacked the opposition bowlers until he encountered a gem from Shakib Al Hasan.

Having already hit two sixes and a four in just ten balls, de Kock aimed for another big shot but was undone by a good length delivery on the third ball of the third over.

Shakib, coming around the wicket at a wide angle, delivered the ball to the left-hander, who was beaten on the inside edge while attempting a forceful swing.

The ball stayed slightly low and crashed into the top of the off stump, catching de Kock off guard after a previous delivery had unexpectedly risen.

A wide delivery earlier had sharply bounced off a crack in the pitch, leading to questions about the quality of the drop-in surface and sparking a flurry of reactions on Twitter.
