They amassed 55 runs during the powerplay despite a few false strokes. A tight seventh over from Sikandar Raza, yielding only four runs, prompted the pair to accelerate further.
In the eighth over, Tendai Chatara delivered a fuller ball well outside the stumps. Jaiswal attempted a ramp shot but was slightly late in positioning himself, resulting in a top edge.
