WATCH : Nitish Reddy trolling Pat Cummins amidst DRS controversy

After Reddy scored his maiden Test century on Day 3, the young batter returned in the morning session to further reduce the deficit.

A boundary off Nathan Lyon brought India within striking distance of a double-digit lead. However, with Siraj at the other end, it seemed inevitable that the Indian innings would soon come to an end.

On the final ball of the 119th over, Cummins delivered a full ball outside off stump that nicked the edge of the bat and flew into Smith’s hands.

As the Australians began to walk off, the on-field umpire decided to review whether the ball had bounced before or after the edge. The third umpire quickly reviewed the footage and ruled in favor of the batsman, much to the frustration of the Aussie captain.

Cummins approached the on-field umpires to request a review, but since the TV umpire had already made the decision, his request was denied. While Cummins argued his case, Reddy, standing in the background, cheekily signaled the same request.

Twitter quickly caught onto the young player’s playful trolling, with users chiming in with their own comments.
