Namibia and Oman kicked off Group B of the latest World T20 with a much-anticipated clash at the Kensington Oval in Guyana.

Namibia’s captain, Gerhard Erasmus, won the toss and opted to bowl first, banking on his formidable pace attack spearheaded by the seasoned Ruben Trumpelmann. The 26-year-old delivered a performance that will be remembered in Namibian cricket history.

Kashyap Prajapati faced Trumpelmann first, attempting a flick down the leg side to get off the mark. However, a late swing on the full delivery beat the bat and struck Prajapati’s front pad, resulting in a plumb LBW.

Next in was skipper Aqib Ilyas, who encountered an even more lethal delivery. Trumpelmann, bowling from around the wicket, unleashed a perfect yorker with significant swing.

The ball hit Ilyas’ foot with his bat nowhere near, and a review confirmed the ball was hitting the middle stump. As Trumpelmann celebrated his success, social media buzzed with praise for his masterful display of swing bowling.
