WATCH : Rachin Ravindra turns boundary blaster and accidentally benches a cheerleader

It was all about Priyansh Arya at Mullanpur, as the Delhi youngster lit up the stadium with a blistering century off just 39 balls. Marco Jansen and Shashank Singh provided solid support, putting together a crucial 65-run stand that propelled Punjab to a strong total of 219/6.

In response, Chennai openers Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway gave their team a flying start, racing to 39/0 in four overs while hammering Punjab’s pacers Yash Thakur and Arshdeep Singh.

Rachin, in particular, was in superb form, and one of his shots led to an unexpected mix of laughter and concern.

On the second ball of the sixth over, Jansen bowled a short ball outside off. Ravindra, standing tall, pulled it cleanly, threading the gap between square leg and midwicket. The ball was struck with tremendous power and bounced once before crossing the boundary for four.

However, as it flew past the advertising boards, it accidentally struck one of Punjab Kings’ cheerleaders on the hand. She was visibly in pain, holding her injured hand and crying out in discomfort.

The moment quickly went viral on social media, with Twitter users reacting to both Rachin’s powerful shot and the unfortunate mishap involving the cheerleader.
