WATCH : Ricky Bhui denying dismissal sonly to be caught red-handed

The Punjab Kings’ decision to field first, having won the toss, appeared to backfire as the Delhi top-order got off to an impressive start in the initial stages of the innings.

However, their momentum was halted by the Punjab bowlers, aided by some remarkable reviews, including Bhui’s dismissal in the 14th over.

During the second ball of the 14th over, Harpreet Brar delivered a well-directed length ball towards the leg stump, prompting Bhui to attempt a paddle shot behind the wicketkeeper.

After the ball passed by, Bhui shook his head in acknowledgment, and the on-field umpire initially ruled him not out. However, upon Jitesh Sharma’s suggestion, the Punjab captain decided to opt for a review.

Subsequently, TV umpire Alex Wharf observed a clear spike on the UltraEdge as the ball passed the edge of the bat, leading to the overturning of the decision.
