Mohammed Siraj, known for his fiery aggression on this tour, stirred up the Australian crowd on Day 2 with his on-field antics. After dismissing Travis Head with a stunning yorker, Siraj gave him a blazing send-off, which didn’t sit well with the home fans.
The tension escalated when Mitchell Starc, who replaced Head, smashed a couple of boundaries off Siraj, prompting the crowd to boo the Indian pacer for his aggressive demeanor.
Amid the hostility, Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant stepped in with a heartwarming gesture. He approached Siraj, had a brief chat, and patted him on the back, offering support while the crowd jeered.
Pant’s act of camaraderie caught the attention of fans, and the video quickly went viral online, earning widespread appreciation.

Despite being booed by the crowd, Mohammed Siraj maintained his focus and delivered a stellar performance. The right-arm pacer dismissed Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland to wrap up Australia’s innings at 337 runs.
Earlier, he had also taken the wickets of Alex Carey and the well-set Travis Head, who fell for 140. With his impressive four-wicket haul, Siraj now boasts eight four-fors in Tests played in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia) countries.
This achievement places him fourth on the list of Indian bowlers with the most four-fors in SENA nations, trailing only Zaheer Khan (12), Jasprit Bumrah (11), and Mohammed Shami (11).
