Rishabh Pant has made a comeback to the cricket field, with a video emerging on the internet showing him stepping onto the pitch to face a series of deliveries.
Following his unfortunate accident last December, Pant had been absent from the cricket scene. His injuries led to his absence from both IPL 2023 and the ICC World Test Championship final, as he underwent a recovery period after undergoing surgery. Fortunately, his recuperation has been progressing positively.
It appears that Rishabh Pant’s return to competitive cricket is imminent, as a recent video captures him practicing against deliveries. The video, posted by a Twitter user, exhibits Pant engaging in batting action at the JSW Vijaynagar event.
The initial portion of the footage displays Pant emerging onto the field wearing his gloves, en route to the crease. During his time at the crease, he faced deliveries primarily from slower bowlers, choosing to don a cap instead of a helmet. Pant exhibited a strong form, executing shots with finesse on the off-side.

Of particular note is the third shot in the video, which evoked memories of Pant’s powerful shots witnessed in international cricket and the IPL. While he refrained from running during this session, his footwork while executing shots was notably impressive.
