Rishabh Pant, who experienced a devastating car accident last year while traveling from Delhi to Roorkee, is making remarkable strides in his recovery and improving day by day.
The talented Indian wicketkeeper-batsman has been undergoing a swift rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, and his progress is evident from a video he shared on his Twitter account.
The clip shows Pant confidently climbing stairs unaided, prompting a heartfelt post that said, “Impressive, Rishabh! Sometimes even the simplest tasks can be challenging.”
Following his car accident, Pant underwent a significant surgery, and over the past four months, the medical team and doctors overseeing his recovery have been delighted with his advancements. While his medial collateral ligament (MCL) required major surgery and his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) needed minor repair, the doctors had hoped that the rest of his injured ligaments would heal naturally.

The condition of his posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) had raised concerns, and the doctors closely monitored him, mentioning the possibility of another surgery. However, as of last month, the need for further surgery has been ruled out.
