Rohit Sharma, the captain of the Indian cricket team, returned home after the Test and ODI series against West Indies. He was seen in Mumbai with his wife Ritika Sajdeh. Referred to as the “Hitman” for his aggressive batting skills, Rohit displayed his caring side as he protected Ritika from fans who gathered around them, making her feel uneasy.
Ritika and Rohit were seen at a Mumbai store on Wednesday, August 9th, arriving in their sleek blue Lamborghini valued at INR 4 crore. A crowd quickly formed, capturing photos and videos, which made Ritika feel uneasy. Her discomfort escalated as fans congregated around their car.
Yet, Rohit made sure that Ritika comfortably entered the car with him positioned behind her throughout. Notably, Rohit led the Indian side in both the Test and initial ODI matches against West Indies. The visitors emerged victorious in the Test series with a 1-0 scoreline, and they secured the ODI series with a 2-1 win.
Presently, the team is engaged in a five-match T20I series against West Indies, with the Caribbeans holding a 2-1 advantage. During the second and third ODIs against WI, the 36-year-old was rested, along with renowned Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
