In the second phase of IPL 2021, the 36th match is being played between Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals today. In this match, Rajasthan decided to bowl first and Delhi team has given a target of 155 runs while batting. Captain Sanju Samson’s decision to bat first after winning the toss proved to be quite right and he quickly took the early wickets of Delhi.

Rajasthan Royals captain and wicketkeeper Sanju Samson smacked Shreyas Iyer’s stumps so brilliantly after which he was highly praised. In fact, Shreyas Iyer wanted to hit a big hit off Rahul Tewatia’s ball but he completely missed the ball and Sanju, who was behind the system, took less than 1 second to shatter the wicket.
This wicket of Shreyas Iyer proved to be very important for Rajasthan and after his dismissal, Delhi’s batting came to a halt to a great extent. Delhi scored 154 runs in a faltering innings and the best innings was not played by Shreyas Iyer who scored 46 off 32 balls. For Rajasthan, Chetan Sakaria and Mustafizur Rahman took two wickets each while Karthik Tyagi and Rahul Tewatia took one wicket each.
