WATCH : Siraj beats Virat twice in nets, after that Kohli’s unreal comeback

In preparation for the much-anticipated IPL 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders, Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj had an intense showdown during their net practice session.

The two RCB stars, who were both in excellent form, went head-to-head, providing an exhilarating spectacle. The clash between the team’s most lively and animated players lived up to its expectations, as both had their moments, but ultimately, it was Kohli who emerged victorious, leaving Siraj stumped.

With 13 wickets under his belt from seven matches, including impressive figures of 3/22 against Lucknow Super Giants and 4/21 against Punjab Kings, Mohammed Siraj has been Royal Challengers Bangalore’s standout bowler this season.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli has amassed 279 runs, including four half-centuries, placing him fifth on the Orange Cap list. As a result, an intriguing clash was set to take place between the two players. RCB’s official Twitter account posted a one-minute clip of Siraj bowling to Kohli, which was nothing short of extraordinary.

At the start of their faceoff, Siraj managed to deceive Kohli twice, beating him with deliveries outside off and leaving the former India and RCB captain perplexed. Kohli acknowledged the good balls with a nod, but what followed was nothing short of pandemonium. It was as though Kohli had declared that Siraj’s moment was over, and he launched an all-out attack.

He smashed several colossal sixes, including the straight hit off Haris Rauf that he famously made in the T20 World Cup against Pakistan last October. Kohli was in a frenzy, positioning himself and connecting with one lofted drive after another. By the end of it, even Siraj conceded that he had been bowling to one of the greatest of all time.
