WATCH : SKY cursing his luck after losing fourth straight toss

India have found another promising leader in their midst as stand-in captain Suryakumar Yadav steered the team to a series win against a strong Australian side, sealing victory with a game in hand in the five-match series.

Despite demonstrating commendable strategic acumen in his captaincy, one aspect that hasn’t favored him is his luck with the coin toss. This streak of misfortune became more apparent during the fifth T20I at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, prompting even Yadav himself to acknowledge the trend.

As the home captain, Yadav took out the coin with a sheepish smile, already bracing for the outcome. Opposing skipper Matthew Wade called heads, and as had been the pattern in the preceding three T20Is, the coin favored the Australian captain.

Yadav reacted with visible disappointment, flailing his arms in frustration before sharing a lighthearted moment with Wade, both grinning broadly as they exchanged a friendly handshake.

Yadav brushed off the incident, mentioning that the toss didn’t bother him as long as his team was winning. However, social media users on platforms like Twitter didn’t miss the opportunity to highlight this sequence of events.
