WATCH : Sneh Rana walks off in tears following an accidental bump with Pooja Vastrakar

India and Australia consistently engage in fierce on-field competition, evident right from the start of the first ODI between both teams. However, the game took a distressing turn when Sneh Rana collided with her teammate Pooja Vastrakar midway through the match.

Despite initial fielding mistakes by the hosts, the Women in Blue attempted to minimize runs, but Australia took advantage of opportunities, maintaining a steady momentum until the collision halted play.

During the 25th over and after a change of ends by Shreyanka Patil, Beth Mooney expertly cut a delivery pitched far outside the off stump.

The ball found its way to the square region, causing Sneh Rana and Pooja Vastrakar, positioned at backward point and point respectively, to collide while attempting to stop it.

Both Indian all-rounders suffered a head-on collision, resulting in immediate intervention by the physio. While Vastrakar seemed okay, Rana appeared to be in considerable pain. Following a brief examination, the 29-year-old was observed applying an ice pack and left the field in tears.
