During their practice session in Sydney, the Pakistan cricket team engaged with Will Symonds, the son of the late Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds.
The team, currently in Australia for a three-match Test series, faced defeats in the initial two Tests in Perth and Melbourne, trailing 0-2 in the series. As they gear up for the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) starting on January 3, the players have been diligently training in anticipation of avoiding a series whitewash.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a video on their official platform, showcasing Will Symonds’ visit to their training session on January 2.
The footage captured prominent cricketers like Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Shan Masood warmly interacting with the young guest, with Will even participating in a brief batting session alongside them.
A special guest joined our training today 🙌

Despite Babar Azam’s below-par performance in the Australian tour, with scores of 21 (54), 14 (37), 1 (7), and 41 (79) across the four innings, Pakistan’s captain Shan Masood expressed support for Azam during a pre-Sydney Test press conference, backing him to deliver a strong performance in the upcoming match.
