WATCH : Suryakumar Yadav Smashed The Most Stunning 360 Degree Six in 3rd T20I

When Suryakumar Yadav finds his rhythm, there’s hardly a more formidable and threatening T20 batsman. Over the last three years, his prowess has frequently shone through in the shortest format. After experiencing rare setbacks in the initial couple of T20Is against West Indies, including an unfortunate run-out, Suryakumar Yadav reclaimed his dominant form in the 3rd T20I on Tuesday at Guyana’s Providence Stadium.

Facing the challenge of a challenging pitch that favored spinners and slower bowlers due to being used for two consecutive matches, SKY showcased a cascade of delightful shots, steering India to victory in a pivotal encounter and resuscitating the series.

The standout among his strokes today was the one he elegantly executed against seamer Romario Shepherd during the 10th over of India’s innings. This particular six nearly cleared the wicket-keeper, exemplifying SKY’s remarkable 360-degree range. While most batsmen take pride in driving straight down the ground, SKY abides by his own rules, effortlessly dispatching bowlers even over the wicket-keeper’s head.

Against Shepherd’s slower ball outside the off-stump, Suryakumar Yadav slightly adjusted his stance, crouched low, and skillfully lofted it over the wicket-keeper for a six. The fact that he managed to clear the boundary despite the ball’s reduced pace underscores his impeccable timing and sheer power.

Suryakumar Yadav’s impressive innings of 83 from 44 deliveries, adorned with 10 fours and 4 sixes, facilitated India’s comfortable pursuit of the 160-run target, thereby narrowing the series gap to 2-1. Notably, this innings also marked his 100th T20I six, a testament to his commanding batting prowess in the format.
