Choosing to field first didn’t go as planned for Southern Brave as Oval Invincibles’ openers, Will Jacks and Dawid Malan, got off to a flying start, racing to 44/0 after the first five sets.
Jofra Archer managed to halt the momentum by dismissing Malan, but the pressure on the top order grew when Tymal Mills outsmarted Will Jacks with a well-placed delivery.
On the 37th ball, Mills came over the wicket and bowled a deceptive full toss aimed at the stumps. Jacks, attempting a powerful swing towards the cover region, completely misjudged it, missing the ball as it swung and crashed into the stumps.
