WATCH : Vijaykumar Vyshak removes Jagadeesan & Roy in the same over

N Jagadeesan departs, caught by Willey off the bowling of Vijaykumar Vyshak. Jagadeesan had been finding it hard to score runs and attempted a pull shot on a slower bouncer, but failed to generate enough power to clear the fielder at deep midwicket. Willey took a good catch while pedaling back.

Roy is bowled by Vijaykumar Vyshak, who delivers a precise leg-stump yorker. In the previous over, Vyshak and Harshal had bowled Roy a few slower balls that were wide outside off, causing him to chase them.

Roy anticipates a similar ploy from Vyshak, but the bowler likely spots his movement. Outsmarting the batter is one thing, but executing the delivery perfectly is another, and Vyshak delivers a top-class yorker. Roy, visibly frustrated, walks off the field and hits one of the bails with his bat.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday, Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat first against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

The pitch at this venue is expected to favor the batsmen once again, as seen in the previous T20 games played here, where the average first innings score has been 194 runs.
