WATCH : Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal confusion run out

By the end of the second day of the Melbourne Test against Australia, the Indian team once again found themselves behind in the match.

In the final half hour, India lost the priceless wickets of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli, allowing Australia to take the lead. The biggest blow came with Jaiswal’s wicket, who was run out in an unfortunate manner.

Jaiswal had been playing brilliantly, and it seemed like he was set to score his second century of the series.

However, in the final moments, he was run out, gifting Australia a big wicket. After this run-out, some fans started calling Virat Kohli selfish, claiming that it was because of him that Jaiswal was run out.

Jaiswal’s wicket fell in the 41st over of India’s innings when, after playing the last ball of Scott Boland’s over towards mid-on, he started running. However, Virat Kohli, standing at the other end, kept looking at the fielder and did not run.

Kohli stayed in his crease, which led to Jaiswal being run out. Jaiswal couldn’t believe what had just happened, while Kohli was later seen saying that he neither heard Jaiswal’s call nor looked in his direction. You can see the video of this wicket below.
