The Bollywood film “Pathaan,” starring Shahrukh Khan, has captured the hearts not only of movie enthusiasts but now even the Indian cricket players. After India’s victory over Australia in the first of the four-match Test series, two well-known names in Indian cricket were seen dancing to one of the film’s popular songs.

It’s worth mentioning that Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, and R Ashwin were instrumental in securing a win for India in the Nagpur Test. Their combined efforts helped the home team triumph in the first match of the series.

Shortly after the Indian team wrapped up the Test match with a dominant performance from their spin bowlers, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja were seen dancing to the popular track “Jhoome Jo Pathan” from the Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone film “Pathaan.”

Ravindra Jadeja made a remarkable return to international cricket with his all-around performance, but Virat Kohli failed to meet expectations. Despite his legendary status as a batter, Kohli could only score 12 runs in the first innings before being dismissed by debutant Todd Murphy.

Regarding the match, the Australian batters had a miserable showing in Nagpur, struggling against the Indian bowlers. Ravindra Jadeja made a particularly significant impact in the first innings, taking five wickets. He dismissed Marnus Labuschagne (49 from 123 balls), Steven Smith (37 from 107 balls), Matt Renshaw (0 from 1 ball), Peter Handscomb (31 from 84 balls), and Todd Murphy (0 from 5 balls) to complete a five-wicket haul.

Veteran Indian off-spinner R Ashwin also took three wickets in the first innings. The Australian team only managed to score 177 in the first innings, while India’s batters, led by Rohit Sharma’s brilliant century and followed by strong performances from Ravindra Jadeja (70 runs) and Axar Patel (84 runs), helped the side take a 223-run lead.

India secured a historic win with an innings and 132-run victory after R Ashwin took five wickets in the second innings and Md. Shami and Ravindra Jadeja each took two wickets. Ravindra Jadeja was named Player of the Match for his outstanding all-around performance. Both teams will come together again for the second Test of the series, set to take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
