Former captain of the Indian cricket team and also the former captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli, appeared quite angry during a match played today. The reason was former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, whom Kohli stared at with anger after catching a catch near the boundary line.
Ganguly was sitting in the dugout of the Delhi Capitals at the time, and the video of the incident is now rapidly going viral on social media.
The RCB seamers put on an impressive performance to successfully defend their total. Despite their poor batting and questionable use of the impact sub towards the end of their innings, RCB’s bowling stepped up and saved the day.
Siraj and Parnell did most of the damage during the powerplay, reducing the Capitals to a measly 2/3. Then, debutant Vijaykumar Vyshak shone with a brilliant spell, taking out dangerous batsman David Warner and in-form Axar Patel.
Hasaranga, who had a lackluster game until then, added to the Capitals’ woes by trapping Manish Pandey LBW. The pitch was slow and not the usual high-scoring one for evening games. The Capitals continued to struggle with their batting.
