WATCH : Virat’s animated chat with CSK’s Khaleel

After Friday’s CSK vs RCB match, Virat Kohli was spotted having an animated conversation with Chennai Super Kings pacer Khaleel Ahmed. RCB secured a 50-run victory at the MA Chidambaram stadium, marking their first win against CSK at this venue in 17 years. Kohli’s chat with Khaleel followed a tense moment between the two during the match.

Videos of their animated exchange quickly went viral on social media, sparking speculation among fans on X about whether Kohli had issued a warning to the CSK bowler after their heated encounter on the field.

The drama began when Khaleel celebrated an LBW appeal against Kohli, convinced he had dismissed the RCB batter. However, the umpire ruled not out, and after a review, CSK lost it. Frustrated, Khaleel responded with a sharp bouncer that Kohli attempted to pull but missed, leading to a fiery stare-down between the two players, which added to the drama of the contest.

Kohli was far from his best during his 30-ball 31, but he did switch gears after taking a blow to the helmet from a mis-hit against Matheesha Pathirana. This moment seemed to ignite his aggression, as he dispatched Pathirana to the boundary a couple of times.

However, he never appeared in full control against Noor Ahmed and was eventually dismissed when he pulled him to Rachin Ravindra at deep midwicket. Frustrated, Kohli walked off, knowing he had just begun to find his rhythm.

Kohli’s innings got off to a tough start, as he survived a challenging over from Khaleel, whose loud LBW appeal was turned down by the umpire. CSK reviewed the decision, but replays showed Kohli was safe.
