WATCH : Wade and Maxwell for losing control of emotions on field after big over

Jaiswal and Kishan’s early departure posed a challenge for India, but the partnership between SKY (Suryakumar Yadav) and Ruturaj Gaikwad steadied the innings, setting a foundation with a 57-run stand.

When the captain left the crease, Ruturaj assumed control, accelerating significantly after hitting fifty and smoothly gliding to his debut T20I century. Ruturaj unleashed in the 18th over, with Hardie conceding 25 runs as the batsman went on a rampage.

As the final over, delivered by Glenn Maxwell, unfolded, it was evident that the formidable Ruturaj Gaikwad was ready for the challenge.

True to expectations, Ruturaj kickstarted the over by hammering a six off the first ball, followed by a no-ball that fetched four runs. Although Maxwell managed two singles and a wide ball, a full delivery down the leg side prompted Ruturaj to attempt a massive shot, missing it completely.

This resulted in the umpire signaling a wide, much to the visible displeasure of Matthew Wade and the frustration expressed by Maxwell towards the umpire. Maxwell found himself conceding more runs than expected, particularly in the crucial death overs, causing visible frustration.
