During the second innings, a young child rushed onto the field and attempted to hug India’s captain Rohit Sharma but was aggressively apprehended by a security guard. The guard’s actions also resulted in a confrontation with Rohit, who asked the guard to calm down. The incident occurred in the fourth delivery of the 10th over with India at 51 runs. Rohit was batting at 37* off 38 balls and Shubman Gill was at 14* off 20 deliveries.
