His innings included nine sixes and four boundaries, propelling his team into the tournament final. On July 29, the Joburg Buffaloes will face the winner of Qualifier 2, which will be between Harare Hurricanes and Durban Qalandars.
Pathan started steadily, scoring 19 runs off 12 balls, but in the last three overs, he unleashed his firepower. The 40-year-old cricketer hammered seven sixes and four boundaries, guiding his team to victory. Notably, he scored 25 runs in the eighth over, with Mohammad Amir being on the receiving end of his assault.
In the T10 tournament, Pathan has been in exceptional form, accumulating 187 runs in eight games with an impressive strike rate of 207.77. In the recent match, Durban Qalandars set a total of 140/4 in 10 overs after choosing to bat first.
