“You still remain trophyless” – Fan Trolled Virat Kohli For His 13 Year Old Tweet

Virat Kohli has long been known for his fiery on-field aggression, regularly confronting bowlers and fielders with intense send-offs and rarely holding back his emotions.

However, in recent years, the Indian star seems to have found a more composed approach, choosing to either directly address issues or not engage with the media and fans as much. This calm demeanor, though, marks a shift from his earlier, more volatile days.

A memorable example of Kohli’s fiery temper occurred during the 2011-12 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, when a Twitter incident erupted after Kohli clashed with a fan. Frustrated by repeated provocations, Kohli responded sharply, warning the fan that his account had been reported and would soon be deactivated. He also advised the fan to stop using foul language in future tweets.

Kohli tweeted:

“@ishaan3 your account has been reported and will be deactivated soon. don’t tweet if u wana use foul language.”

Interestingly, despite Kohli’s warning, the fan’s account remains active and he has made it a point to remind Kohli of this fact every year. On Kohli’s 36th birthday today, the fan once again took to social media, posting a reminder of the infamous “deactivation” threat. The tweet quickly went viral, sparking a wave of humorous reactions online.

The fan tweeted:

“It’s your 36th birthday @imVkohli, and you still remain trophyless as a captain, while I’m still using Twitter. Abhi tak block nhi hua xutiye.”

This tweet, posted on Kohli’s birthday, added to the playful banter between fans on social media. However, it later emerged that the fan, who had been inactive for over a year, had last tweeted about Kohli in January 2023.

As Kohli celebrates his 36th birthday today, the cricket world continues to acknowledge his remarkable career. Known for his ability to deliver in high-pressure situations, Kohli’s clutch performances have become a hallmark of his career, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest players of his generation.
