The ongoing Asia Cup has seen multiple India vs. Pakistan encounters affected by rain. The group stage clash between these arch-rivals ended in a no-result due to a washout. A similar scenario almost unfolded during the Super 4 match, causing the game to be rescheduled for the reserve day. Originally set to commence at 3:00 pm, persistent rain caused a delay, and the action eventually got underway at 4:40 pm.
While the rain dominated the headlines, a video featuring Pakistan’s captain, Babar Azam, circulated on the internet, reportedly from Sunday. In the video, Babar loses his composure when dealing with a fan, who seems to be a volunteer, bombarding him with multiple selfie requests.
At first, Babar politely agreed to the requests but grew increasingly frustrated as the fan persisted in taking more selfies, leaving the cricketer visibly annoyed. The captain, who appeared somewhat angered, admonished the fan.
This incident wasn’t the only instance of Babar displaying his displeasure. On Sunday, he was also caught “rebuking” pacer Haris Rauf after the latter urged Babar to opt for a DRS (Decision Review System) following an LBW appeal against KL Rahul. Babar believed the ball was heading over the stumps.
This incident occurred just before rain interrupted the match, ultimately leading to a halt in play. On the reserve day, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul resumed batting for India, aiming to accumulate as many runs as possible in the remaining 25.5 overs of their innings.

India had reached 147/2 in 24.1 overs before rain interrupted the proceedings. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill had provided a solid foundation, forming a 122-run partnership for the opening wicket after India was invited to bat first.
