The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest batsmen rankings of One Day International format after the Paytm series between India and Sri Lanka. The India opener batsman and also the stand-in captain climbed at 5th position.
Rohit smashed his third double century in the second match of the recent series against Sri Lanka. He was also the leading run scorer in that series. The other opening Indian batsman Shikhar Dhawan also climbed one position and now at the 14th place.
Shikhar Dhawan was declared as player of the series for his two valuable innings. The regular Indian captain Virat Kohli is still at the top of the list, who take a rest from the rest series due to his marriage with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.
The South African star player AB de Villiers is at the second place, while Australian opener David Warner and Pakistani batsman Babar Azam are at the 3rd and 4th place respectively.
