The legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar backs the Indian wicket-keeping batsman MS Dhoni about the retirement. He believes that MS has contributed a lot in the history of Indian cricket and he knows his game very well.
Sachin said,“The player only has to take the call. A player of his calibre, who has been around for a long time, knows what is expected of him. And where he stands. So, I will leave the decision to him.”
Earlier, In the last match One Day International match against England, MS Dhoni keeps the ball after the end of the match. India lost that match and also lost the series. Due to that, the rumors came out that MS Dhoni will take retirement after this, but the head coach of the team Ravi Shastri clarified about this matter in the post conference.
“MS wanted to show the ball to Bharat Arun. He wanted to show him the wear and tear the ball had endured, to get a general idea of what the conditions were like. That’s rubbish. MS is not going anywhere,” Shastri said.
