Recently, the renowned captain of Team India, MS Dhoni, was spotted on a flight, engaged in a game of ‘Candy Crush Saga.’ As expected, this incident caused a tremendous buzz on social media platforms, with the game quickly becoming a trending topic on Twitter. In a matter of just three hours, the game garnered an astonishing 30 lakh downloads from enthusiastic users.

Accompanied by his wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni, who also serves as the Managing Director of Dhoni Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., MS Dhoni was traveling to Ranchi on an IndiGo flight. Despite his stature, the captain of the Chennai Super Kings chose to travel in the economy class, winning over the hearts of fans with his down-to-earth nature.

A viral video captured an IndiGo air hostess approaching MS Dhoni during the flight, offering him a delightful assortment of chocolates and sweets, accompanied by a thoughtful note. Dhoni graciously acknowledged her gesture, engaging in a warm interaction.

In the video, Dhoni could be seen engrossed in playing the popular game ‘Candy Crush’ on his tablet. Observant cricket fans quickly noticed this, causing MS Dhoni and Candy Crush to become a trending topic on Twitter.

Sharing the video on June 25, Twitter user Mufaddal Vohra wrote, “MS Dhoni – the crowd favorite.” The video swiftly gained 6.2 lakh views, with the numbers continuously rising. Cricket fans from all around the world flooded the comments section with their thoughts and admiration.

Candy Crush, in response to the video’s virality, proudly declared that their app witnessed over 30 lakh downloads in a mere three hours. Expressing their gratitude to Dhoni for sparking the game’s trend, their official Twitter page stated, “Just In – We Got 3.6 Million New Downloads in Just 3 Hours. Thanks to the Indian Cricket Legend @msdhoni. We are Trending In India Just Because Of You.”
