The BCCI has announced the two squads for India ‘A’ and Board President’s XI for the upcoming series with New Zealand ‘A’ and two warm-up matches against New Zealand. The India ‘A’ will take the New Zealand ‘A’ for 5 One Day International match series, while the Board President’s XI will play two warm-up games with New Zealand ahead the main series with the senior team.
The BCCI officials said,”The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named the teams for India ‘A’ and Board President’s XI. The India ‘A’ side will play five One-Day games at Vizag against New Zealand ‘A’ after the completion of the ongoing four-day game. The Board President’s XI will play two warm-up matches in Mumbai against New Zealand ahead of their ODI series.”
Shreyas Iyer will lead the team for the first three matches against New Zealand ‘A’, while the wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant will lead the team in rest two matches. Iyer will also lead the Board President’s XI team in the both warm-up games.
