The Indian opener batsman Shikhar Dhawan is fit and available for selection for the 1st Test against South Africa. While the all-rounder cricketer Ravindra Jadeja is down with viral illness.
Jadeja has been suffering with illness for the past two days and unable to give their 100% for the upcoming first Test of Freedom Series. The test series is starting from the 5th January.
The BCCI medical team and the local medical team have decided that Jadeja will be send for the treatment and expected to recover in next 48 hours. The availability of him will be decided in the morning of the Test match.
