Harbhajan Singh selected best playing XI of Team India for WTC final 2023

India and Australia will face each other in the World Test Championship final in 2023. This match will be played at the Kennington Oval Cricket Stadium in England. Both teams have arrived in London and have begun their preparations. Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has selected India’s playing XI for this match. It is not Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, or Virat Kohli, but another fierce batsman who has been called a game-changer.

In the upcoming WTC final between India and Australia, Harbhajan has chosen his playing XI, forming an opening partnership of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. At the number three position, Cheteshwar Pujara has been selected as the batsman. It should be noted that Pujara was not a part of the IPL. He was playing in the county championship and had also showcased his destructive form.

After that, Virat Kohli has been chosen at the fourth position. Kohli has also been in a destructive form in IPL 2023 and has arrived in England to focus on his preparations. Harbhajan has chosen Ajinkya Rahane at the fifth position. It should be noted that due to his impressive batting performance in IPL 2023, he earned a place in Team India’s squad.

After that, he mentioned that if we consider the sixth position, KS Bharat and Ishan Kishan, Ishan Kishan is a game-changer player. He mentioned that initially, he was considering playing KL Rahul, but he got injured and had to be ruled out. He further stated that I am considering playing Kishan because he knows how to play against the new ball and can also play explosive batting like Pant.

Not only that, his left-handedness can prove beneficial for the team as well. Harbhajan has chosen Ravindra Jadeja at the seventh position. Regarding Jadeja, he said that his genius is underrated. He performed well in the IPL, showcasing excellent bowling skills and hitting sixes and fours in the final, leading Chennai to become champions.

After that, he selected Shardul Thakur at the eighth position. It should be noted that Shardul proves crucial not only in batting but also in bowling. As a second option for spin bowling, he chose Ravichandran Ashwin. He mentioned that if the conditions are dry, Ashwin should be played. After that, he included Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, and Umesh Yadav for fast bowling.

The Indian playing XI selected by Harbhajan : Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Ishan Kishan, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur/Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav
