ICC World Cup 2019: Injury Scares Team India During Net Session

The Indian Cricket Team is facing one more injury problem ahead their campaign against Afghanistan. The all-rounder cricket Vijay Shankar injured his toe in the net session.

If this will be serious issue then India will face one more injury in this ongoing World Cup. As we all know that, the opener batsman Shikhar Dhawan is already ruled out of the tournament with Thumb injury and the fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar also out of the team for couple of matches due to hamstring injury.

A Indian team source informed,”Yes, Vijay was in pain but it has subsided by the evening. Hopefully, there’s nothing scary.” So if it is true then noting to worry about Shankar. The Team India will play their next match against Afghanistan on 22nd June at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.
