India’s Probable Playing XI for First ODI Against Sri Lanka

The Indian Team is ready to take the Sri Lankan team in the first One Day International match of Paytm series. The regular captain Virat Kohli is unavailable for the entire series, so the vice captain Rohit Sharma will lead the team. Hardik Pandya is back in the team after missing the Test series against Sri Lanka.

The captain Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will open the innings, as they both always loves to bat against the Sri Lankan team. Rohit Sharma is also in the great form in the recent Test series, but Shikhar Dhawan didn’t impress too much with the bat.

In the middle order, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik will be the part of the squad. While the most experienced and the former Indian captain MS Dhoni is ready to take responsibility in the absence of Virat Kohli. However, he is also close to the milestone of 10,000 runs in the One Day International.

Hardik Pandya is the only all-rounder in the squad. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are the two spinners in the team, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah are the pacers of the team.
