IPL Games in the 2018 Season Could Begin Early

The matches of the 11th season of Indian Premier League is set to begin early. As we all know that, the timing of the match was 4 PM and 8 PM. But in the new update now the match will begin one hour earlier, i.e. at 3 pm and 7 pm.

The IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said: “It was just a thought (starting game at 7pm) and everyone welcomed it but first we need to speak to broadcaster and take their nod. We will work on modalities then. There have been many centers where traveling is major concern. All the issues were discussed and we all thought to start the game but early”.

One more thing cleared by Rajeev Shukla is that every franchise owners have a power to release any player in mid-season of the tournament. But the condition is that  if he has played two or less of the first seven games of the tournament.

“Every IPL owner agreed to have this in the forthcoming season. It will give a chance to those players who are good but are not getting opportunities to be part of playing XI of any IPL side” Shukla added.
