In response, Joe Root expressed his preference for playing under the leadership of MS Dhoni, stating, “MS Dhoni.” It is widely acknowledged that many cricketers hold admiration for Dhoni, appreciating his composed and collected demeanor on the field.
His renowned reputation stems from his exceptional captaincy skills, adept wicketkeeping abilities, impressive batting traits, swift stumping expertise, agile running between the wickets, knack for last-ball sixes, signature helicopter shots, notable ICC trophy victories, and numerous other accomplishments. The extent of his contributions to Indian cricket is so immense that it defies adequate description.
