Sri Lankan fan Daniel Alexander is one such anti-india fan. He often posts controversial takes criticizing and trolling the Indian cricket team through his official twitter handle ‘@daniel86cricket’. He goes below the belt sometimes which is exactly what he did during the ongoing ODI series between India and Sri Lanka but when things didn’t turn out to be in his favour, the Sri Lankan deleted his tweet and got heavily trolled by Twitterati.

In last night’s match, Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat first. They improved considerably from their last match’s performance and put up a decent target of 275 for the visitors.

Coming in to chase, team India received two massive blows very early in the game as last match’s hero, opener Prithvi Shaw, departed very early. In at three Ishan Kishan, who also scored a fifty in the last match, also failed to rise up to the occasion and made just one run. At this point, the match slowly started tipping in favour of the Lankans. Although Suryakumar Yadav’s responsible knock of 53 off 44 helped the Indian side to maintain a balance, the match was slowly slipping out of their hands. It was at this point that Daniel Alexander made a below the belt tweet that infuriated the Indian fans. He wrote ‘Sri Lanka > India’ and turned off the comments.

Unfortunately for Daniel Alexander, the tables turned pretty soon. Indian tailender Deepak Chahar gave the best batting performance of his life to win the match for India. His sensational knock of 69 off 82 will be remembered for ages to come. Karma striked back and Daniel Alexander has no option but to delete the tweet.

It was then that Indian started trolling him in masses.
