Latest ICC T20I rankings Released, Good News For Indian Players

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ranking of Twenty-20 Internationals after the Paytm series between India and New Zealand. The team India won the series by a margin of 2-1 after a close encounter in the third match. India won the third and the series decider match by just 6 runs.

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is still at the top of the batsmen ranking chart. The both Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan increased his rankings. Shikhar Dhawan moved on 21st place, while Rohit Sharma claimed the 45th position. The New Zealand opener Colin Munro also climbed up in the ranking and now at the 12th position.

The Indian death over specialist Jasprit Bumrah retained his top position in the ICC bowlers ranking. He was player of the match in the last match for his superb two wickets with a great economy. He was also the player of the series in that Paytm T20I series.

The other Indian bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar (two place jump to 26th), as well as spinners Yuzvendra Chahal (up by 22 places to 30) and Axar Patel (moved 17 places to 62) also climbed up in the updated ranking.
