The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the updated rankings for the Test players after the victory of India, England and New Zealand over West Indies, Australia and Sri Lanka respectively.
Team India won the first Test by dominating performance, New Zealand did also same, while on the other side the England beat Australia in a nail-biting Test match. Ben Stokes played brilliantly in that match and won the match single handily.
The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is still the number 1 batsman, but he is just 6 ratings ahead the Australian batsman Steven Smith. If Virat Kohli will play one more poor innings, then Smith will take over him.
On the other side, the Indian star bowler Jasprit Bumrah entered in the Top 10 Test bowlers ranking. He is now at the 7th place in the table. If he continue to perform like current form, then it will be easy for him to enter in the Top 5.
