India’s playing XI against County XI: Rohit Sharma(C), Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, KL Rahul (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj.
Having won the toss, India chose to bat first. The Blues got a slow start but went on to receive a massive blow to their plans as both the openers Rohit Sharma and Mayank Aggarwal departed early. Rohit Sharma made 9 runs in 33 balls while Mayank Aggarwal made a bit more than his partner, 28 off 35.

Mayank Aggarwal seemed to be getting his long lost form back in the initial phases of the game as everything was going in his favour. Unfortunately for Mayank Aggarwal, he fell prey to the brilliance of Nottinghamshire CCC pacer Lyndon James. The 22 year old bowled an incredible good length delivery that drifted in to hit the middle stump. Mayank Aggarwal totally misread the delivery and a well made knock of 28 runs thus came to an end.
Chetteshwar Pujara also failed to rise up to the occasion once again. He scored a mere 21 runs in 47 deliveries before getting stumped behind.
KL Rahul and Hanuma Vihari are currently India’s last hopes to help them reach a respectable first-inning total. As of now, India have made 75/3 in 28.2 overs.
