Matthew Hayden, the Australian cricketing legend and former star player for Chennai Super Kings (CSK), predicts that this will be MS Dhoni’s last appearance at the highly lucrative T20 league.
He also suggests that the CSK team will spare no effort to make it a memorable one for their long-time stalwart. On March 31st, the IPL 2023 season will commence with a match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the defending champions, Gujarat Titans.
In the meantime, several days after Matthew Hayden made his significant prediction about MS Dhoni, another former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star, Harbhajan Singh, has made a bold statement about another CSK player, forecasting that he will be the key player in the upcoming season.
“Ravindra Jadeja is the one player that everyone should pay close attention to, particularly when he is batting for CSK. He could potentially move up in the batting order, and he also has the advantage of bowling his four overs. From a global cricket perspective, I believe that there is no all-rounder better than him,” said Harbhajan Singh.
During an interview with Star Sports, Harbhajan Singh expressed his excitement to watch Ravindra Jadeja play in the IPL. Harbhajan highlighted that Jadeja is the X-factor for the team due to his extensive experience in playing in these conditions as both a bowler and batsman. He further added that he is confident that Jadeja will be the difference-maker for the team.
